Developer in BI and Master Data
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for the developers of the future in the areas of BI and Master Data, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in society while developing your career. We are looking for someone with a strong drive to develop and learn more about BI and Master Data.
With us, you will work in agile development teams alongside engaged colleagues who are passionate about using data to make a difference. Here, you will be involved in the entire process from analyzing large datasets and identifying key trends to building and maintaining systems that make information accessible and useful for operations. You will create visualizations and reports that transform complex data into clear decision-making support and be involved in further developing the correctional service's decision support platform and Master Data. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to data-driven development and improve our processes for data governance and data quality so that we can trust that the information we use is both accurate and relevant.
You will be part of an agile development team responsible for developing digital solutions that meet the needs of the operations. In the team, you will have the support of engaged and helpful colleagues who share their expertise and experience in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes great responsibility for their tasks. We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in a relevant field such as system science, data engineering, computer science, or statistics and data analysis, or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Experience with data-driven development
- The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
It is an advantage if you have:
- Education focused on BI/AI
- Experience as a developer in BI
- Experience as a developer in Master Data
- Experience in AI
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or equivalent systems
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing
- Knowledge of the Microsoft BI suite (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS)
- Knowledge of agile development methodology
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Knowledge of BIML
